Week Six - Popcorn!!

What an amazingly tasty snack! I never realized that you could pop popcorn right off the cob! We were given several ears of popcorn in the CSA delivery this week and I treated myself to this healthy snack.
To make popcorn, toss the ear into a brown paper bag and roll up the edge. Microwave for 2 minutes until the popping stops. Then toss on a little melted butter and season as desired. I LOVE that this version of microwave popcorn because it eliminates all the additives that you find in the bags at the grocery.

I hear you can also pop loose kernels of pop corn the same way in the microwave. Yep. New easy snack added to my cookbook.

Time to buy up all of the ears in the land - to ensure I have yummy snacks all winter long!
